My assignment today, Saturday Dec. 22 – shoot the Highway 58 volunteer firefighters and their friends and families delivering toys and food to families in need in the area around Highway 58 (more specifically, Ooltewah, Birchwood, Meadowview, Georgetown and Harrison.) I didn’t expect to get to ride in a fire truck and hang out for almost 6 hours with some amazing people. Overall, a fulfilling day, and I think I made some firefighter friends.

I can post some. All the photos are property of the Times Free Press, so I can’t email you any, but if you give me some time I can post some. I only have a few taken at the actual department, but I think the engines are in many of my shots. Anything in particular?
