Del Ward talks on her cell phone to her children in front of the sewing room of her apartment in Chateau Royale off Germantown Road, which was destroyed when a suspect fleeing police crashed into it on Wednesday. No one was injured in the crash.

The suspect has been identified as Jason Ansley, 27 year old black male of Chattanooga. The suspect is on probation for possession of crack cocaine in Walker County Georgia. An open container of alcohol was also found inside the vehicle.
The suspect has been transported to the Hamilton County Jail. He is currently charged with Felony Reckless Endangerment, Felony Evading, Driving on Suspended Drivers License, Open Container Law, Registration Law, Safety belt law, and Speeding. Chattanooga Police Department responded to work the accident. More charges may follow in reference to the accident.
