Yes, Lindy Dugger.
These were taken on Saturday, March 8, the day after she got engaged. And I am very honored to say that she has asked me to be her Maid of Honor. I’m pretty psyched to be helping plan this wedding.
Isn’t she just going to make the perfect bride? That’s her fiancée, Mark, behind her at his house. And the engagement present I gave her in her right hand.
They try to be good subjects and pretend I’m not there.
And the tickling begins.
Lindy: You see what I have to put up with?
Me: For the next 50 years.
Lindy: Oh Lawd, shaddup.
I just met Mark for the first time that day.
He seems nice.
Like he would be a good provider.
This proves it.
This book may help you get to know Mark better. Yeah, he is a bodybuilder. Sorry you can’t tell from his huge muscles.
“Hmmm where do we, the newly engaged couple, take our best friend and future Maid of Honor, to celebrate our engagement? If our names are Lindy and Mark, we take her to the Adult Superstore!!!”
There I met Zac, Mark’s bestest best friend. It is actually a very nice, well-lit place. Not nearly as sketch as those panties hanging in Mark’s rear view mirror. Lindy assured me they are hers.
I couldn’t take picture inside though. Bummer.
Ok, let’s go get steaks.
So we drive over to the steakhouse and into this amazing patch of light.
And I have always known that Lindy is gorgeous. BUT DAMN!!!
You really would have to be an idiot to not want to marry this woman.
Dinnertime….
Bud eats the last bite of his 32 oz steak.
Bud, a portrait.
Mark did end up finishing his 32 oz steak and had the T-shirt to prove it, he shows it off to Lindy’s dad. **Lindy wants me to add that is was the second 32 oz steak he has eaten at this establishment.**
Lindy and her family, on their way out, finally share some words about Lindy’s engagement. Her mom had just found out that night.
So, what should we do after a huge meal? I know!!!!!
Shove Lindy atop this bull-like thing.
And where has Bud’s steak been this whole time?
Well, congratulations to Lindy, Mark and their families. I was very honored to shoot these (very informal) engagement photos.

I think you nailed the night. The only thing missing is redneck tea…
But I would like to clarify, I never said, “Lawd.” That’s the completely wrong kind of twang. I have absolutely no idea how to spell out how I’d actually say it. Maybe like… “loerd”.
And that was Mark’s second 32 oz steak. I’d say it’s amazing what people will do for a t-shirt and your picture on the wall, but he always eats that much.
The engagement present was delicious, btw.

And it’s too bad Mark was so shy around the camera. Goober. He knew what he was getting into. I’ll break him in eventually.

Yea lindy is cute and I hope the newly weds a great life. I just hope that they take the time now to really decide and write down what being married means to them, because life comes fast and when it does you won’t have any time to look back to that moment in your life that you once considered to be the happiest day in your life. I don’t know I like your blog even though I can not see you in the photos I can still since your presence.
