I ‘m Kelly Wegel, a senior at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga. majoring in magazines and Spanish with an emphasis in photojournalism. I will graduate in December 2009. I recently returned from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I studied Spanish for three months. In spring of 2008, I took a six-month hiatus from school to be a photojournalism intern at the Chattanooga Times Free Press in Chattanooga, Tennessee. From August to December 2007 I was the photo editor of The Red & Black, the daily independent newspaper serving the University of Georgia community.

My goal: to tell stories through visual media.
